Extraordinarily versatile – for special applications on exterior wood!
Osmo Klar-Öl-Lasur is an extraordinarily versatile wood coating with many possibilities for use on wood surfaces in outdoor areas. It is ideal as a base coat for softwood, in particular rough sawn wood or greyed and weathered wood surfaces, to balance out varying absorption rates. Osmo Klar-Öl-Lasur is also suitable as a slightly glossy top coat for Osmo Einmal-Lasur HSPlus or Landhausfarbe, when a slightly glossy and low maintenance surface is desired: doors, windows and shutters (dimensionally stable), carports, timber cladding, balcony elements, fencing, pergolas, garden sheds (dimensionally unstable).

NUMBER OF COATS
One coat on the cleaned surface is enough.
Finished surface in 1 day, 1 coat (base or top required)
- First coat on raw wood approx. 65 ml/m².
- Drying time approx. 10-12 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase drying time. Allow for good ventilation.
- After thoroughly drying, carry out a top coat with Osmo Landhausfarbe, Einmal-Lasur HSPlus or Holzschutz Öl-Lasur.
As clear, slightly glossy top coat: apply one coat very thinly along the wood grain to the thoroughly dried wood surface that has already been treated with a pigmented Osmo exterior finish and spread well.
