Forsdal Sound Protection

Peace and quiet is life quality and it increases the property value of your home. Our solid wood sound protection fencing not only looks great but also significantly lowers the noise level of nearby streets, railways and not so quiet neighbours. Forsdal meets the requirements for structural noise barriers on roads (tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1793-1 and ZTV-Lsw 06), and our sound-absorbing variant also meets the sound insulation requirements for railroad lines (Rili 804.5501 2013).

  • Variation A: With 45 mm planks, sound reflexion of 25 dB (sound protection group B3)
  • Variation B: With the one-sided highly absorbent noise protection wall made of 28 mm planks and absorber elements, a sound reflection of 27 dB and sound absorption of 10 dB (sound insulation group A3/ highly absorbent) is achieved. This qualifies this variant especially for densely built-up areas.

OUR VARIATIONS FOR FORSDAL SOUND PROTECTION

VARIATION A: Reflecting sound protection

The sound is reflected by the 45 mm thick planks.

VARIATION B: Absorbing sound protection

To protect those living opposite you from reflected noise, Osmo also offers a sound absorbing variation. 28 mm thick planks are combined with absorbing elements to reduce noise pollution by approx. 29.5 dB. For example, the noise of a truck at approx. 90 dB is reduced down to a comfortable noise level of 60 dB.
