It had been a long time since the old skirting boards had seen their best days: the signs of wear from countless children's birthday parties, toy cars and moving furniture could not be overlooked.
"Quickly I determined that every skirting board in every room should have a different colour. I like the fact that Osmo has expanded the colour palette for skirting boards," says Architect Ella enthusiastically.
Four new variants with an elegant matt finish have been added to the Osmo range of coloured skirting boards.
The trendy nuances in the classic RAL shades of light grey, stone grey, anthracite grey and black open up a wide range of design possibilities: "I think contrasts are simply very elegant, which makes the new floors stand out even more," says Ella happily.

Thanks to their matt surface finish, the skirting boards made from hard-wearing solid wood are a perfect match for the currently very popular industrial or loft look - and that was exactly Ella's concept for the renovation:
"For me, the skirting boards were the highlight of the design concept for my house. They add exactly the accent I had in mind."
